CRM Marketing Associate

What You’ll Do

Squarespace is looking for a passionate Promotions Associate to manage and execute various CRM acquisition and conversion tactics.

You will advance their business by contributing to a data-informed approach to customer targeting and campaign measurement. With meticulous attention to detail, you will lead the implementation of a complex promotions calendar, spanning multiple products, languages, geographies, and tactics. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to deliver responsive/mobile-friendly CRM promotional programming, from ideation through execution and analysis. You have a customer-focused orientation and are a champion for campaign execution.

You will be based in their New York office and report to the Sr. Manager, CRM.

Role responsibilities:

  • Maintain promotions calendar and supporting documentation across all products and surfaces

  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of all promotional discount codes for CRM and additional teams throughout the organization

  • Execute promotional email, push, and in-app marketing campaigns that support pre-defined performance goals, such as CTR, open rates, conversions and incremental revenue lift

  • Build email, push, and in-browser campaigns with HTML & CSS coding, including personalization with Handlebar logic and dynamic content, using our email service provider, Iterable, and our app notification provider, Braze

  • Perform all quality assurance steps including proofing templates on all applicable devices, staging user experiences in-product, live rendering, and spot-checking audience lists to ensure accuracy

  • Develop and test new promotions capabilities and tactics

  • Communicate all promotions details and updates to partnering teams and serve as point of contact for Customer Operations

  • Regularly perform competitive analysis, tracking CRM acquisition campaigns and developing related points of view to deliver insights to the team that are backed by data

  • Advocate for the customer experience

  • Collaborate with Engineering team to support implementation roadmap

Who You Are

  • 1+ years of demonstrated success in a customer acquisition focused role within marketing

  • 1+ years of experience in a direct marketing/CRM role, using multiple channels to communicate with customer base

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design, overall email processes, and ESP platforms - direct experience working in Iterable and/or Braze.

  • Ability to initiate and pursue ideas, work in an expedited time frame, establish trust and maintain a collaborative spirit working with teams across the organization
